With the Bobil Calorifier Hybrid Kit you have the choice to either purchase one of our NEW custom made Bobil Calorifiers, or it can fit on to any other calorifier if you already have one. This means you can have hot water from your diesel air heater, from your engine when its running, and from the in build 12V and 230V elements, perfect for all eventualities!
 
Combine this with the robust and 3-year-warranty of the Autoterm Diesel Heater (in 2kw or 4kw), you have everything you need for your campervan heating and hot water system. The 2kw model is suitable for smaller vehicles, whilst the 4kw is good for medium-large vans.

The Bobil Calorifiers are a Dual Voltage 12V/230V element calorifier. This is available in 15L or 25L and makes for the ultimate calorifier hot water system. They are the same design as our ever-popular Bobil Electric hot water tank, but with the added benifit of having a coolant coil included, allowing you to use your engine to heat the hot water.
 
The Calorifier Hybrid system can heat the water up to 85 degrees celsius and easily sustains a comfortable shower temperature in your boat or motorhome for multiple people. Check out the timings in the product spec.
 
The Kit comes with our Bobil Smart Controller, which switches the diverter automatically depending on whether you are heating air or water. This also controls the 12V element, allowing excess solar to automatically power the element when your batteries are full, for FREE HOT WATER! Level sensors can also be connected to the Bobil Smart Controller for extra functionality, which we highly recommend.
 
Suitable for all water pumps up to 45PSI, this water heater fits neatly in a locker or cupboard and has ½” BSP fittings which will accept all common plumbing fittings.

With the Autoterm diesel heater, you have a choice of 3 controllers:
PU-05 Controller - allowing you to turn the heater on/off and control the fan speed.
Push Controller - a sleeker controller design, very minimal, which also uses the Bobil Smart Controller's temperature sensor to thermostatically control the heater.
Comfort Controller - allowing for a better display and timer functionality than the Smart Controller offers. (e.g. turn on my heater a 4am on Thursday for 1 hour or turn heater on when temperature falls below 16C, and turn off when it reaches 22C).
