The MAXI Bobil Air Hybrid heats allows you to heat water from both your diesel air heater and via electric. By pumping water through a heat exchanger - attached to a diesel heater - you can heat up water from your diesel heater, giving your hot water to wash up, do dishes or have a hot shower. The 15L or 25L insulated, pressurised tank easily connects to your existing water supply and has integrated tank connectors, require very little power to maintain the temperature.

The MAXI Bobil Air Hybrid has upto 2.5x larger hot water capacity than our original Bobil Hybrid Kit, giving you even more hot water at your disposal, great for larger campervans. You have a choice of a 15L dual element tank (200W DC, 800W AC), or a 25L 1500W AC tank.

This kit works with nearly any diesel/LPG hot air heater, Webasto, Eberspacher, Chinese or Autoterm. If you haven't already got a diesel heater for your van we sell the Autoterm heaters, which pair perfectly with our system.
 
This system now comes with our new Bobil Smart Controller, which automatically diverts air towards and away from the heat exchanger depending on whether you wish to heat your campervan, or hot water, or both. This also controls the 12V element, allowing excess solar to automatically power the element when your batteries are full, for FREE HOT WATER! 
 
This controller has inputs for level sensors too, for a complete campervan plumbing system, which we highly recommend.
 
An all new 2024 design now allows for this system to be used with systems of pressures upto 45PSI, and has ½” BSP fittings to connect to your plumbing system. 
 
If you haven't bought your campervan plumbing yet, we sell a variety of plumbing parts in our store, including a complete plumbing kit for your convenience, so you don't have to mess around with pipe or needing to know what plumbing parts you need, you can buy it all as one kit to go nicely with your MAXI Bobil Hybrid hot water kit.
 
For extra safety, you can also add our thermostatic mixer valve kit to provide safe warm water directly from your taps without needing a mixer, excellent if you have kids in the van!
