The MAXI Bobil Electric heats allows you to heat water electrically, and can heat the water up to 75 degrees celsius and easily sustains a comfortable shower temperature in your motorhome or narrowboat for multiple people. Check out the timings in the product spec. 
 
The 800W AC version can be connected to your electric hookup socket (or inverter)
The 200W DC version can be used with your 12V leisure battery and comes with a fully programable controller that will stop the battery being discharged and allow any incoming power from the solar panel or battery to battery charger to be used to heat the water automatically for FREE hot water!
The 25L MAXI Electric has an upgraded 1500W AC element for even quicker water heating.
 
The MAXI Bobil Electric hot water system has upto 2.5x more hot water capacity than the original Bobil Electric, perfect for larger off grid vehicles. We also sell this larger tank as part of our new MAXI Hybrid.
 
You can choose from the standard single controller for easy use, or the new Bobil Smart Controller for automated functions. These controllers display water temperature in the tank for accurate heating.
 
The Bobil Smart Controller is also compatible with our level sensors which are available here. 
 
The large 15L/25L insulated, pressurised tank easily connects to your existing water supply and has integrated tank connectors and requires very little power to maintain the temperature. Suitable for all water pumps up to 45PSI,  and has ½” male BSP fittings which will accept all common plumbing fittings. If you would like to use a higher pressure pump than 45PSI, please contact us.
 
We also advise the addition of an expansion tank. The tank allows the expanded water from the heating process to stay within the system, else it will leak out through the drain valve. The tank comes with a mounting bracket and a 1/2" BSP thread, so you can tee this off from your hot pipework.
 
If you do not yet have your fresh water pump then have a look at the Seaflo 33 series pump available to purchase here and works brilliantly alongside our system. For extra safety, you can also add our thermostatic mixer valve kit to provide safe warm water directly from your taps without needing a mixer, excellent if you have kids in the van!

Dual Element Additions
These versions heat your water using excess battery/solar power so in summer you can have hot water for free! 
Includes the controller and high current relay which monitors your battery voltage and stops the batteries being discharged. 
The DC element will activate when the system sees enough power to activate the element, so when you are generating at least 200 watts from driving, via solar or through a battery charger, the element will activate and start heating the water. To run predominantly from solar we would recommend installing at least 300 watts of solar panels.
 
This system is supplied with bare wires. Product is CE marked. It complies with the requirements of the European health, safety and environmental protection legislations.
