Whilst we love the Maxxair Maxxfan, because all Maxxfans sold in the EU are permanently vented this does create an excessive amount of road noise. We recommend fitting the seal kit where ventilation is not an issue, as this will make the driving experience much more enjoyable.
 
The seal kit should not be fitted if the Maxxfan is being used as the primary source of ventilation and special precautions should be taken with airflow around installed gas appliances.
