The BASE 2.0-EB is a user-friendly, lightweight Portable Extra Battery, designed to add energy storage capacity to your system. Equipped to accept solar and hybrid renewable inputs, you can charge it directly and deliver clean and efficient power to your devices.
 
This product is designed as additional battery storage for the BASE 2.5, and a maximum of 15 BASE 2.0 EB's can be used with the BASE 2.5 system. If bought with the BASE 2.5, a 10% discount code is applied automatically at checkout.

The BASE 2.0-EB Battery Management System (BMS) has multiple in-built protection features, to safeguard both the Extra Battery and your connected devices from overheating, overload, and short-circuit. These limit excessive power draw, overcharge and deep discharge to preserve the longevity of the battery. With short circuit protection and temperature control, you can confidently use the BASE 2.0-EB, knowing that your safety is taken care of.

Due to this being an additional battery, it's main function is additional battery storage, and assumes you'll use the main BASE 2.5 for most connections, including all AC connections.
 
Charging
Solar Charging: approximately 1h from 0% to 100% charge on max input (18V-140V input (2100W max)). The high-efficiency MPPT charge controller converts solar, wind (DC), or hydroelectric (DC) input, allowing you to go completely off-grid and enjoy the planet's free energy.
Onboard Charging: Trickle charge via the vehicle's 12V socket while travelling around or use the Sherpa Charge-500 Smart Charger (sold separately) that can fully charge the BASE 2.0-EB in 4.5 hours while driving, making the BASE 2.0-EB a viable onboard power solution.
